address‘Happy New Year’ from the Chamber Office

As 2008 begins and we all return to the workplace, new plans and initiatives start to get underway to take individual businesses to ‘new heights’. As the local Chamber of Commerce we can play a key role within that plan.

As an independent Chamber we focus on business to business marketing. Members will be aware of the huge benefits of being part of the Chamber. If as yet your business is not a member then please make it your ‘new year’s resolution’ to join!

Upon joining the Chamber members receive an invaluable database of fellow members – an ideal marketing tool. If perhaps you have been a member for several years and would like an updated database you can purchase one on disk through the Chamber office for just £45 plus VAT.

Networking is such an important part of business to business promotion. For 2008 we will once again be offering you an unrivalled schedule of networking events. The New Year lunch is coming up on Friday 8 February at Mere Golf & Country Club. Our guest speaker and vice patron Graham Brady MP will share with us his political experiences. The cost to members is only £22. Please reserve your places as soon as possible.

The next copy of the Chamber magazine Altruism will be arriving through your letter box shortly – enjoy the read. Please let me have any news stories for the spring edition by 3 March and we will try and include them. We also have a limited amount of advertising space available within this edition, so please reserve your space as soon as possible.

The Altrincham Town Centre Partnership has asked us to highlight project ‘Argus’. This is a National initiative on the prevention of terrorism. A free event will be taking place in February at the Altrincham Town Hall. For further information contact Janet or Helen on 0161 929 6881.

We look forward to working with you in 2008.
